States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Close working relationships with a select handful
of manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and India to produce our own designs, helps
to ensure that we maintain our high standards for quality. Headquartered in
a rural setting outside of Baltimore, Maryland, the company's US operation carries
on the Popken family tradition in textiles dating as far back as 1880 in Hamlin,
Germany. The European company took on its current form in 1985, and now includes
a chain of nearly 300 company-owned or franchised retail stores across Europe
and beyond, as well as a substantial catalog and internet presence. In 1993 the
Popken family branched out into North America. Today, Ulla Popken® offers a collection
of apparel uniquely designed for today's woman who wants style with quality, value,
