Sales Tax
Our California “Governator”
wants his due: Orders shipped to California addresses include a sales
tax of 7.75% added in automatically upon checkout. This is the current
sales tax rate for Orange County, California and required by The State
Board of Equalization. California Sales Tax will automatically be included
on checkout for all orders shipped to California locations.
Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA)
So far the news is
good!
While the potential
for internet order taxes being required in all states in the future does
exist, so far orders shipped to destinations outside of California are
not taxed.
Simplified Version
States can only require
companies to collect sales tax in states where they have business operations,
and as a result, a company will not collect sales tax in states where
they have no physical business location.
Currently MySIzeUSA.com
has its offices and distribution located in California and therefore orders
shipped to locations outside of California will not be taxed. So, if you’re
located in anywhere in the USA outside of California, Congratulations.
International orders
may require Export Declarations to accompany the order.
MySizeUSA will complete
and pay for the required Export Declaration on your behalf. A Declarations
page will be included with the Packing slip on all international orders
requiring one. Any taxes, duties or fees associated with International
Orders are the responsibility of the recipient. Please refer to the International
Shipping section.
