Fitting
Considerations: Use a normal chair from your kitchen or another type of chair
with a solid seat and backrest. Consider which height you most prefer. You will
then need to measure the height at the top of the seat. Please remember the chairs
we have are made with a slightly stretchable fabric. You will sink slightly. If
you are using the chairs at the beach, the chair legs will also sink slightly.
Consider
your height. If you are 5’8” or 5’9” you may want a regular height
chair of 14 to 17 inches at the seat. If you are taller go with a chair that has
a higher seat, 17” to 24”. You should also consider whether or not you prefer
to put your hands on the arms and push yourself up and out of a chair, or
you may prefer to step down when getting out of a chair. Note – if you
have injuries to your lower body or back and cannot push up: go with
the taller chair seat. Consider
your weight. This is a serious consideration when purchasing
our compact folding chairs. We have 2 lines of chairs. Our Standard Products Line
and our Max Performance line. If you are a person who is “Super Average”,
a Person of Size, or someone who wants the ultimate in strength and quality, the
Max Performance line of chairs is where you should begin shopping.
Remember, on the Max Performance Ultimate the arm width is 23 inches at the
very bottom and spreads out as the armrest goes up the arm. Consider
your Comfort Level. Do you like sitting lower and maybe slouching a
little bit? If so go with a lower seat height. Or, do you like to sit up with
a straighter back? If so then go with a taller seat height. Consider
how you will use your chair: If you love to have 4th of July pictures
taken with your kids or grandkids in your lap, please buy the Max Performance
chair. |
